Coinbase to launch new lending platform aimed at large institutional investors

Sept 5 (Reuters) – Crytocurrency change Coinbase World (COIN.O) is launching a digital asset lending platform geared toward massive institutional traders, an organization spokesperson instructed Reuters on Tuesday.

Coinbase has raised $57 million for its new crypto-lending platform, a regulatory submitting confirmed.

The crypto business, which was reeling from a number of excessive profile failures, bought a lift final week after a three-judge panel dominated that the Securities and Change Fee (SEC) was unsuitable in rejecting Grayscale’s proposed bitcoin ETF with out explaining its reasoning.

Coinbase final month had secured approval to supply cryptocurrency futures to U.S. retail clients, scoring a serious regulatory win.
